Judith Veenendaal
Dutch director Judith Veenendaal grew up in a creative household, the daughter of a jazz musician and sculpture artist. She began her filmmaking career at The Hague’s Royal Academy of Art, delving into the world of storytelling through film, photography and the performing arts. With an instinctual grasp of light, composition, and the surreal, Judith weaves narratives that are visually engaging and deeply poetic.
She has gained a wealth of experience working with brands such as Amazon Music, BBC, Hyundai, Under Armour, G-Star, UNICEF and Lincoln, where she worked with Serena Williams.
Her accolades include Cannes Young Director Award, Creative Circle Best Commercial Director Award, and Vimeo Staff Picks. Her music video for Yseult ‘Noir’ has achieved recognition at Ciclope and won Best Music Video at the Netherlands Film Festival.
